Tokyo Fashion Week Fav: Hiroko Koshino

Happy Easter loves! Lets enjoy this day of purpose, family and friends.  On a fashionable note,  the Fall 2013 collection by Hiroko Koshino was pretty stunning. The Kishiwada Citynative has been showing her beautiful collections since 1978. Her clientele has grown into international numbers and keeps  coming back for exquisite pieces such as the dresses, skirts, and jackets seen below. I am pleased with the  lines and shapes seen lot through her presentation. Let me know what you think and which look is your favorite !

Tokyo Fashion Week Fav:Yuma Koshino

Alright guys, so just had to add my list of Tokyo Fashion Week favorites. I'm all for patterns and silky textures, Yuma must have had me in mind :). The colored tights kept the looks fresh and played up the designs on  top. I appreciate the fall collection using so many bold colors. This show had a bohemian  feel, which is probably why it puts a smile on my face.  Yuma Koshino creates her line with a concept of 'spiritual luxury' sewn into every look. The brand's mission is to deliver her passion and energy through careful creation to those who buy her brand. Love it.

Maki OH Monday: Fall '13

Maki Oh made my Monday with her Fall 2013 presentation. Maki Osakwe is such a talent! She created a collection from a hair weaving technique referred to as threading.

Her looks incorporate a textile method which resembles threading, creating patterns that are like gold to my eye! I love every single look! The sheath dresses speak to my queen spirit. The uneven dress hems and patterned sleeve ends give an aura of royalty, my favorite aesthetic. Each season her collections out do her previous one. What a wonderful way to end a Monday!

NYFW FAVS: Rachel Roy Fall 13

Catching up on some  NYFW shows tonight , Rachel Roy's presentation was genius ! Loving the concept of her digital catwalk allowing her to reach out to a broader fan-base than in past seasons. The collection was perfect for the girl on the go that has fun with prints and and ornate accessories. One could wear the look just as the models are or mix and match pieces.  A realistic and sophisticated show fit for a lady of class .

NYFW Favs: ThreeASFOUR Fall 2013

Round of applause for ThreeASFOUR's Fall 2013 show . I am  impressed by their use of  angles and stones in the 14- look collection. Cosmic enchantment  best illustrates the theme seen to me in the presentation. Models strutted futuristic  silhouettes infused with  organic glass like statements , details that one's eye must linger  on for a few  extra minutes. Dramatic headpieces  gave a gothic feel combined with the matte teal colored lips seen . ThreeASFOUR is the label you wear , when you want to be remembered for what you wore. The little black number with cutouts across the chest and  gems cascading down the front ( seen right below ). . puts every black dress I have ever own to shame. I need it .
