  • One of the reasons I launched Haute Hemisphere was to give a transparent look inside minds married to creativity. I literally live and breathe what I blog about. My passion is to tell stories of those blessed with the talent to create, style, and lead. In my opinion, leadership is something one is either born with or without. This talent may not be apparent at first but it is something that can be molded and adjusted until unique to the individual whom possesses it. Joy Harrison was born with CEO in her blood, and while working her way up the event coordinator ladder, she started Pryme Modeling. With her "I know I can" attitude, this girl will surely strut herself to the top.

HH:First and foremost you have great style! :-) Has fashion always been an interest? Describe your style/favorite stores.
JH:I wouldn't say fashion has always been an interest, I would say originality and self expression is. I've always just wore what I felt. Up to my second year in hs, I dressed pretty boyish. I can say that has stuck with me but I've added the girly touch to it. I'd say my style is just my own. It's always been with me. I don't follow fashion rules. It either works or it doesn't! I shop all over. I couldn't even begin to think of my favorite store. I'm kind of an "I like it, I buy it" type of shopper. I never put too much thought into it.

HH:Your currently coordinating various fashion events , any  you want HH readers to be aware of ?
JH:I have a few Pryme events that are currently in the works but dates haven't been established yet. We are teaming up with a local designer for a fashion show Nov. 30, 2012. Other dates will be released soon.

HH: You are the CEO of Pryme Modeling. How was your company concept conceived?
JH: It was pretty quick how it all happened actually. I was modeling in a show myself and was overwhelmed and excited at the same time with all that was going on to make the show happen. From there, I instantly challenged myself. "I can do this" was my thought. Got my team together and we put together a huge successful show in a month’s time. After that, we came up with a plan to keep it going.

HH: How do you believe Pryme and your other industry "hustles" will aid in you reaching your ultimate goal of being an event coordinator?
JH: I've learned how tough this really could be! There's a lot of time to be invested; a lot of money to put in; and a lot of people to stand clear of. I just look at it all as preparation for something bigger. Coordinating is something that I love so I don't see much scaring me away from it.

HH: If your passion could be symbolized by an animal, which would it be and why?
JH: Hmm... Good question! As a child, my dad loved animal planet. I was always interested in the hyena. They are often mistaken as timid animals, but they are actually very bold! They are really sociable and opportunistic creatures. They always seem up for a challenge and somehow make their intentions very clear. Besides the fact that they aren't the cutest animals, I think their characteristics fit me well!

HH: Where can interested parties find you and PRYME Modeling ?
JH: I do a lot of Pryme promoting from my personal pages. There, you can find all of Pryme's upcoming events. Insta and twitter "missjone" and Facebook "Joy Missjone Harrison."

HH:Anything else you would like to add?
JH: Anyone interested in working with or joining Pryme as a model, please email me! Missjone07@gmail.com
