Expressive Accents: Maroon Dawta

I love me some culture, and a beautiful skin tone that raidates confidence. What I love more, are accessories that pay homage to their hertiage through bold designs. As an accessory lover and designer (more on that in the coming months ;) ) it is a personal mission of mine to find all of the hidden gems of indie talent across the world creating wearable art. My most recent discovery thanks to twitter, Maroon Dawta Jewelry.

This London based line , offers a little bit of power in each of their designs. Inspired by founder Tremaine's heritage as a Jamaican Maroon and  'daughter' spelt with a Jamaican Patois twist. Culture is part of the creative process.  For my afrocentric sweeties, in love you will be. I pretty much want it all, starting with the Rect B earrings ( FIYAHH), followed by everything else.
