  • So, every woman reading this, let's vow to take at least 30 minutes out of our day to do something for us. Peace should be included in your schedule, everyday, even if only for a few moments.
Pampering is a little harder. I attempt to treat myself to a glass of wine, cup of tea, good book or late night meditation practice each night to revitalize my frazzled nerves from the workday. With my Christmas shopping done, next up on the to do list is traveling. Coming from someone that travels once every week, it puts wear and tear on your body and no one wants to look horrid during the holidays.

So my lady loves, I have been pinning up my Beauty board with natural home remedies and spa treatments for us to try. A little TLC can change your life during this time of year. Take a break from cold temps, Christmas lists, holiday parties and the noise of everyday life. Here are a few recipes for you to try. I used some of the suggestions which left me feeling calm and girly. :) Cheers to peace and natural beauty. Cheers to us.

    For Your Feet:
    Foot Scrub
Mix 1/4 cup Listerine (any kind),
1/4 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup of warm water
Soak feet for 10 minutes and prepare for the dead skin to fall right off!

    For Your Face:
    Clear Complexion
    combine 1tbsp. citrus juice
    1tbsp baking soda
    Stir until the bubbling lessens
leave on for 20 min then rinse
FYI Citrus exfoliates, brightens and helps keep pores clean. Baking soda takes away dead skin cells and helps to prevent blackheads

    Blackhead Remover
    1 T honey
    2 tsp salt
    2 tsp baking soda
Mix all and gently apply to problem areas in circular motions.
Allow to sit for 5 minutes. Gently rinse off with a washcloth and warm water.

    Coffee Scrub
    1/4 cup raw sugar
    1/4 cup ground coffee
    1 tbsp olive oil
    2 tbsp coconut oil
    1 tbsp sea salt
