Me and the Man will be making our way to NY this weekend to check out highly anticipated Vallarino Saltonstall’s debut Pop Up Shop set to open tonight and be around until April 30,2014. You can check the shop out at RSPOP Shop on 501 Lexington Avenue, NYC, daily. Store hours are as follows; Monday-Friday 10am-8pm; Saturday 11am-7pm; Sunday 12pm-6pm. For those of you not totally obsessed with Vallarino Saltonstall yet let me give you the background on the super cute bohemian brand.
While students at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) two creatives shared a dream of running their own apparel line. They dreamed the line would have a vibrant outgoing, artistic aura. To make the dream a reality the two spilt up on complimentary paths, each learning the business side of the industry; Vanessa in textile/print design at Li & Fung, and Hattie in production at Badgley Mischka. Once reconnected, Vallarino Saltonstall was born.
