Museum Mind: Morris Ogbowu

Meet Morris.

A self taught artist born and raised in Nigeria. Growing up his purpose was very much felt, but kept on the inside due to an uncreative outside environment. After moving to Canada Morris was exposed to the beautiful art atmosphere he craved as a child thus encouraging him to dive back into drawing. He started off with 3D illusion drawings, a design dynamic that left onlookers interested in his work. Hyperrealism was the first art genre to hold Ogbowu's interest until he stumbled upon photorealism .

His passion for photorealism has continued to grow as he strives for perfection in his craft. Personally, I am moved by his work. He is so detailed in his portraits you feel the emotion in his subjects eyes. Patience has been vital as Morris has mastered every detail in his artistry.
