  • It's been a while.

I'm working on getting back to blogging, but Taila.Made is a major part of life these days. No worries though, Haute Hemisphere is so entwined in my spirit, like a first born child - it is the first thing on my mind when I wake up. Today I woke up thinking, I really need some look books to be inspired by. As much as I love soap - a girl adores her indie fashion and accessory fixes. So we're back on track, starting with one of my fav indies Maki Oh. I discovered this brand initially during AFWNY 2012 and have since kept an eye on her growth and aesthetic. Every season Amaka Osakwe's impresses, just as she did with her Spring 2015 collection, which was inspired by the word virgin.

Scroll on for the sophisticated layering and feminine silhouettes. I'm really digging these piece: the demure necklines, immersion of different shades of blue (one of my fav colors) and the overall structured fit of the collection. Perfect for the girly girls. . . and even those that aren't . . such as myself.
