Bold and Beautiful : All Things Fabulous

I first met CEO of All Things Fabulous in a chemistry class my sophomore year of college. She had impeccable style and always wore the cutest jewelry to compliment her look. After realizing we both were not meant to be chemists, we would chat about fashion and our futures in it. We both had big dreams, which since , we have taken the initiative to start ourselves. I admire this young woman’s ambition as well as her one of a kind pieces sold in her online boutique. Meet Chanel Murphy , a beautiful depiction of All Things Fabulous .

HH: What inspired All Things Fabulous?
CM:All Things Fabulous is inspired by the bold and daring fashionista. I wanted to create a boutique specifically for women who love high-quality statement pieces and who like to stand out. Independent women who know what they want definitely inspired All Things Fabulous.

HH: How would you describe your personal style? What are your signature accessories?
CM: I like a mixture of comfort and glamour. I’m attracted to clothing that is casual and luxurious at the same time. Also, I love pieces that are made of really nice fabrics and last a long time. My signature accessories are a really nice handbag, sunglasses, and bold earrings. These are items that I love to invest in.

HH: You just hosted ATF’s first trunk show, how was the experience? Will there be more to come?

CM:The experience was amazing and it was a great networking opportunity. I met a lot of people who are involved in Charlotte’s emerging fashion scene. There will definitely be more to come.

HH: How do you hope to grow your business in the next few years?
CM: I want my company’s name to be recognized and respected everywhere. I plan to have a showroom and eventually design an All Things Fabulous line of jewelry. Additionally, I hope to collaborate more. It would be cool to style photo shoots and work with celebrities and tastemakers.

HH: Favorite jewelry brands right now?

CM: I love Crux NY. It was great working with them. All Things Fabulous carries pieces from Crux NY. I love their jewelry because the pieces are so bold and outstanding. The materials are delicate and lightweight. Also, Melody Ehsani is dope! I love her style and everything she does with her company. I hope to carry Melody Ehsani in my boutique one day. She is definitely an inspiration to me.

HH: Personal motto. Why ?

CM: I don’t really have a personal motto but I always tell myself to keep going no matter want. People want to see you give up and fail. Don’t give them that satisfaction. You have to keep moving because without movement there is no progress. Also, I always tell myself the only person I’m in competition with is myself.
