  • Many days I find myself sitting at work, ready to be off the clock so I can head home curl up in bed or on the couch, and read. A good book takes my mind off of everything except the content, story, and experience I am having while engaging with the words. Any time I have ever faced an uncomfortable challenge in my life, to a book I go. Maybe it's because growing up in a college professor household, you are told often, to read a book. Luckily, it was never a chore to me.

Expression is very important and powerful. I enjoy reading others' perspectives and encounters to see how they grew and overcame. Life is an incessant flow of knowledge. You just need to pick and choose which streams you're most in sync with.
As a shy individual growing up, books answered many of my questions and to this day they still do. It's just that now I have a new ball park of questions. Questions like, how do I attain wealth to carry me through life? Rich to me is temporary. How do I continuously inspire myself and others through words? Found a book for that too. Finally, the topics I have been most devoted too: growing your own business, in addition to keeping my spirit smiling, and hopefully, calming my hand eczema.

Good books are ones that will push me to reflect on myself, my goals, and being present in this life. With me and the hunni saving to move, I haven't been shopping, even for books, but thanks to Amazon's free kindle section, I've still been able to read a handful of amazing books . Each one has either inspired me or pushed me forward in faith, patience, and positive visualization; all important virtues to be molding during your twenties.

Check out a title or more and see what you take away. I read these all in a matter of days, so no worries. They aren't long daunting books, but they get the point across.
