We've chatted about my eczema and how I am on a quest to find natural products to soothe and restore the skin on my palms, fingers, feet, and legs. This is my first winter in NJ since moving back from NC last December, and I am noticing the lower temperatures are causing my hands a wee bit more pain and dryness. So I have begun a few personal experiments to see if I can get an idea of what causes my flare ups.
Experiment one is a diet cleanse. For the next month I plan to change the way I eat, mainly removing heavy dairy, red meats, and sugars/processed foods from my diet to see if there are any improvements. Up until now I mainly use Pure Shea Butter on my hands feet and legs, with a mixture of other moisturizing products.
Thanks to twitter I came across Whipped, luxury natural products at affordable prices for those with sensitive skin and a love for organic goodies. Lauren Wiley is always spreading natural wisdom for various skin conditions ( eczema being one) and adding new concoctions to the site. In the brief year she has been in business, she has grown her team and her following, making her quite the Beauty Queen inspiration. I have already ordered and used her 420 butter, which has brought great relief to my dry legs, hands, and feet. Check out the site. Try out a butter or two. I promise you'll be hooked!
Are you already a Whipped fan? If you are, which products do you love?
