25 and Mauke V

Today is my birthday :D .

Twenty five is pretty major for me. I have realized it's the year people stop saying "oh you're still young " and perhaps the last time I will tell anyone my real age. As I reflect on my these two and a half decades of life, I think about how little events have gotten me to where I am today.


My first job at Marshall's led to my first full-time job as a retail analyst. My love for fashion placed me on the path to become a fashion major, and my need to write drove me to launch Haute Hemisphere.

Life is about little moments making a big picture, which makes me want to be more aware and in the moment everyday. My time spent reflecting provided insight into why I really started this blog.

I wanted the chance to have the slightest impact on a dreamer I have never met before. To inspire or educate them on amazing individuals I find on trend or on their own trend. I'm in the business of promoting visionaries.

I believe details always speak loudest, which is why I focus on InD creatives who aren't trying to flow up stream with the rest. They stand out, are insanely passionate and would rather create than sleep. Their power drives me, encourages me and shows me, I'm not alone. So their products I support.

As if she knew it was my birthday, January 16,2014 Mauke V launched their debut denim bra collection. The bras are breathtaking! My favorite is a denim lace mix beautifully contoured to enhance a woman's treasures. This bra collection alone has given me reason to start paying more attention to little details in my wardrobe.

I've said it before, I don't believe in breaking the bank for fashion, but you do get what you pay for. So some items are worth an investment. Bras and denim are like best friends. With the perfect fit, stock up. Mauke V is the kind of brand I want to keep close, strapped to my chest close.
