How's  your week going so far? I hope everyone had a great weekend, and enjoyed the beautiful weather, a nice taste of spring. Fashion has been my main focus as February is filled with fashion every week of the month. My favorite part of fashion week is seeing  different cities' fashion community.  Local fashion weeks represent the style perspectives of the area. I'm five minutes outside of Philadelphia, and have always been intrigued by the styles worn by creatives in the city.Free spirits and styles resided at Friday's RTW runway show, for Philadelphia Fashion Week 2014. Presented in the Cranes Art Building, the evening was filled with beautiful fashions, models, cocktails and creativity.

All of this year's designers presented an interesting point of view but as we all know,one collection always stands out a little bit more. My favorite show of the night was, the beautiful, as well as first African American designer to win Project Runway (season 12 ),Dom Streater's. To sum up my favorite part of her collection in a word; PRINT. The Ikat pattern seen on coats and dress silhouettes, are a must have for a girl like me. Her presentation was lighthearted and fun, perfect for the free spirit, such as myself.  Keep an eye on Dom, I guarantee this is only the beginning.
