Fabric Minds: Spoonflower

My newest passion project, is textile design.

I'm enthralled by the individuals that create  fabric the rest of the world flocks too. Prints are my wardrobe staple, but sometimes when searching for the right fabric, it's just not there. This is what peaked my interest initially, and after locating amazing designers like Woking Girl Designs I have been diligently research how to and where to go to learn. If anyone has any suggestions, leave them in the comments below.

Anywho, so my mission brought me to SpoonFlower's homepage. For those of you unaware, this site, is the answer to creatives looking for unique textiles. Your able to create your own designs, and sell your favorites. How exciting, while I want to learn a more hands on approach, perhaps silk screening, I also want to get started right away, I have summer dresses, skirts, and blouses to make!

The process for design is super simple, once you've  tried a few times, you will be all set. I plan on creating some fabric in the next few weeks to make pillows with, I'll be sure to do a show and tell when my order arrives :). Happy Fabric creating my dears!
