I need my locs re-twisted.
Badly. I'll probably spend a few hours tomorrow getting my crown back in order. Until then I am a part of team 'beanie and head scarf'. Despite having to wear something over my mane this week, I'm a frequent member of the cover up crew.
Thanks go to Pinterest always having a ton of head scarf tutorials. Head wraps work well in my wardrobe. If I'm in the mood to wear jeans and a tee, a printed scarf is all the excitement my look needs. With that being said, I always have my eyes open to interesting textiles to be used for my next head wrap.

My admiration for story tellers, could explain my interest in Christin Chang and her artistic New York-based label Chrisu. This textile author creates scarves that tell a story to the wearer. Each one is drawn and painted as a water color drawing before being digitally printed on silk. Her mission was to create a line of silk scarves that can be worn effortlessly for a younger generation. The Long Island native. has her purpose on lock. I want a handful of her designs.
Take a gander and tell me what you think. Love at first sight? If so, you'll be happy to know you can visit and shop her collection at the NY Pop Up Shop Location at 712 5th Ave at 56th Street, Henri Bendel Store, New York, NY 10019 thru April 21st.
Everyone is going to want to be a part of the cover up crew now. . . we may have to rename it to the Chrisu Crew. Get on board.
