My Saturday morning was spent with several beautiful and inspiring young women discussing South Jersey (SJ) fashion and blogging over a light lunch. The event attracted bloggers from the South Jersey area with the common goal of supporting South Jersey Fashion Weekend 2014.
Founded by Kat Quaterman, a vibrant Brooklyn native with a knack for creating unique experiences, South Jersey Fashion Weekend is in its second season. Over a two hour brunch, I was inspired multiple times; first from the other blogger's stories of prospering in purpose, to Kat's mission to raise awareness for Colon Cancer. Surely a meeting of the minds.
Haute Hemisphere is always on the lookout for emerging and independent designers with a passion to prosper in purpose, and from the look of the lineup, attending SJ Fashion Weekend is the prime spot to find some new faces. An intimate group of eight designers will be showing their collections during the May 3rd event. . The show will be held at the Flying W in Medford, NJ, with a fashion lounge open until the show starts and then again after. South Jersey Fashion Weekend is intended to leave a fashionable imprint in all the attending minds and hearts.

The first season of South Jersey Fashion Weekend began the commitment to increase awareness around the deadly disease of colon cancer. The Fight Colorectal Cancer organization partnered with South Jersey Fashion Weekend last year and again this year to increase awareness and encourage education and screenings.
South Jersey Fashion Weekend was born last year after Kat, hosted a business launch and fashion show for her personal store, Sense of Style Boutique LLC. The debut of South Jersey Fashion Weekend captured the attention of 6 ABC Action News. This year aims to go over and above the original. I'm looking forward to the shows on May 3rd.
