If it was up to me, I would have a different dress for everyday of the week. Nothing makes me feel more feminine than the good ole fashion feeling of fabric caressing my skin as I live. The right dress will make me feel I can conquer anything, while looking like a goddess; a woman’s dream. With all this warm weather we have been having lately, I figured it was time to evaluate and add on to my dress collection.
Many of you whom read Haute Hemisphere often realize I am happiest when wearing a floor length maxi. There is never a bad time to slip on a sheath dress or Kaftan and head out the door. This spring, I’m looking to step into a few new dress silhouettes, to see what others I adore and can incorporate into my 25 and up wardrobe. Searching led me to eShakti, or should I say they found me.
What started as a small website offering cotton basics has grown to be an international fashion design company, mastering in the field of client customization. My first, and certainly not last piece, is an incredible two piece skirt and bralette set. I anxiously awaited its arrival, as I dreamt up the endless number of looks I could style. This set was a slight push for me, as I usually keep the mid-section completely covered, but as in life, one must sometimes experiment. On this chilly Sunday I rock my super cute set with my favorite Joe's Jeans denim jacket and tan ankle boots, the perfect combination of sugar and spice. The blue and white print would pair great with a graphic tee and long cardigan as well.
