Yeahhh, that's a real question for you to think about. A lot of people (myself included) think happiness is reached when a certain goal is accomplished. An example of this may be getting a higher paying job, getting married, buying a house, etc.
Happiness is defined by Webster as; 1.a state of well-being and contentment, 2. a pleasurable or satisfying experience. Thanks to my boyfriend giving me a friendly reality check a few weeks ago - I have realized traditional success, as in making more money- is not guaranteed to bring you happiness.
First, you have to figure out a personal definition for happiness and then connect it to your future success. For example, I will feel successful if I am able to travel the world for materials for my soaps and jewelry in the near future. I'm finding happiness is not directly linked to money. It is so much more and it is certainly a topic worth spending some time on. Life is too short to be successful and unhappy.
