I have time to watch a vision come to life. The right presentation leaves me inspired for weeks, which is awesome for business.
Creativity is an energy that connects kindred spirits. Those in the fashion community take dreams and turn them into shows and presentations. A flower, word, texture, color and so many other daily details invoke these visionaries to produce an entire collection. That is why my love lies in fashion weeks' back to back displays of creativity in various forms.
Everyone tells a story differently and if it involves clothes, accessories and passion. . I need to be involved. If you're like me. . . you need to be too, so lets indulge in NYFW shows over the next few days and get our wheels turning for style and business sake.
As an entrepreneur, it is critical to meet and maintain relationships with people in your niche as well as similar niche groups. Individuals make up a creative community which will inspire and ground each of you. Events like fashion shows/weeks, art receptions, community gatherings and non profit/volunteer opportunities are great ways to be seen and meet people that need to be involved in your network.
So let this stream inspire not only your wardrobe and beauty regimen for the following months into next season, but also. . how you do business and intend to be outside of the box this year. . Who would of thought one could learn so much from a fashion week. ;)
