  • Beauty starts at the foundation.

This holds true for nature, people, fashion, art even skincare practices. So many forget the foundation is what everything is built upon, it has to be strong.  For us beautiful beings, our foundation starts at the soul and works it's way outward. Your skin is a reflection of how you feel on the inside, and should be pampered and praised.

Self Love is essential  for a Queen, so if you don't have a royal care practice in place, it's time to start one. Men have self care down pack, they know how to disconnect and "do them", sometimes it's a little harder for us Goddess's. That's why simple "me rituals" should be your best friend. Make them daily, weekly and at the very least monthly, don't go longer than a month without tending to yourself.

Back to the beauty side of this discussion - one of my favorite mid week rituals for my skin is a Deep Cleansing Mask, bubble bath with candles and soft jazz music. I'm stuck on Adovia's Purifying Mud Mask, for all skin types. Not only because of the coveted high quality Egyptian  ingredients of Aloe and Dead Sea minerals, but also for  the silky, refreshed feeling of my face afterwards. Seriously, I haven't loved a mask so much yet!

Before hopping in the shower, I just add the mask evenly to my face, and leave it on for 10-20 minutes, right before I finish in the shower I wash it off. My face feels softer, looks brighter and doesn't have that nasty dry feeling a lot of products give me. My Wednesday night face treatment has me ready for the world every time. For weeks I may be breaking out a lil more than usual,I may skip a night wash with my Taila.Made soap and opt for a papmerin cleanse with Adovia. Build your beauty box with this purifying mud mask.
