Anita Dongre's fashion week collection was stunning. I was impressed with the long skirts with fitted bodice tops and the the glamour given by the prints used. This collection depicted the fashionable Indian "Urban Goddess" of today. Aimed at the jet setting Indian woman, the show captured the essence of contemporary and traditional style of dress. Dongre brought together silks, dyed block prints, contrast bodices ,unstructured jackets and hipster skinny trousers in such an elegant way. A very 1950's vibe was felt from the styling of the looks. Dongre's use of multiple techniques were used to capture the Goddess in her best light. I want about three of the long skirts shown and a bodice or two . . or three. What is your favorite look ?
