HH: Tell us about Sharp & Timeless. How was the company concept conceived?
ST: Sharp and Timeless is an Image consulting firm that is comprised of a network of image consultants, stylists, photographers, MUAs ( Make Up Artists), boutiques, etc. We bring together all of these elements dependent on the goal we are attempting to bring to fruition for our client. We developed the concept based around individual style and ways of enhancing it by taking a modern approach to classic style.
HH: Why is there a need for your styling services? Describe the types of consultations you give your clients.
ST: To us, it is very important to always look the part. We feel that if you look great, it will in turn provide you with self confidence and you will ultimately exude this through your daily passions. This notion explicates the need for our styling services. We aim to help you dress for success. As a company, we offer wardrobe consultations, styling consultations, as well as personal shopping consultations.
Sharp & Timeless offers a variety of services which are tailored to the individual. We offer a variety of packages to fit all budgets, comfort level, professions, etc. The three cornerstone pillars of the company are personal shopping, fashion photography & individual styling, and professional development coaching.
HH: When and where did your styling career begin? What is the company style philosophy?
ST: Our styling career began officially in February of 2011. This marked the actual
conception of Sharp & Timeless. Our company is centered upon the mantra of “Move in Style” as well as “Always Stay Sharp.” While you are pursing your purpose throughout life, it should be done in a stylish manner. You should also always search for ways to refine and sharpen your character.
HH: Who is the Sharp & Timeless team? How did you come together and what is your mission as a company? In what ways do you hope to expand your business in the future?
ST:The team is comprised of Dustin Byrd; Creative director,Kendall Bougouneau; Director of Operations Brandon Faber; Chief image consultant Travis Bell of Hollywood Imagery.
HH: Define FLY in your own words. How is flyness incorporated in your everyday looks?
ST: An annoying insect of some sort, correct? I’m being facetious. Looks are directly proportional with moods I think. It varies day to day. I’m inspired by vintage elements, so many of my personal looks convey that. I believe that ensembles are best received when the wearer makes them appear effortless. A natural ambiance trumps a forced one any day.
ST: Know what works best for your personal body type. Fit is very essential and shouldn’t be compromised. Began building an efficient wardrobe by purchasing staple items first, then add more of your trend pieces. This helps to ensure longevity within your wardrobe. Always stay true to who you are and everything that inspires you.
HH: Why should those with dreams of their own business pursue it?
ST: Dreams give us purpose in life. To be able to wake up every day of your life and chisel away at your Dreams is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly or for granted.
