Twin sisters Nura and Naimah Willams started it all with a camera, some friends and a dope logo. FrogNation is the first graphic under their ONE Nation Clothing Line. With a following that is constantly growing throughout the states , your sure to see this frog pop up in a city near you . Most likely on a fashionable male or female, similar to those seen below. I was able to chit chat with the sisters and learn all about the Nation.
HH:What's your personal definition of Frog Nation ? In what way do you want the world to see your line ?
FN:My personal definition of frognation is a fun way to be yourself. When you wake up to get dressed in the morning what you wear really describes who you are or how your feeling at that moment so when you go out and buy your pieces , your looking for something that’s going to describe you. I feel like frog nation can match any mood you feel. We have so many colors to choose from and so many people styling the shirt that best fits them. Its really simple to dress it down or get really complex and dress it up. All depends on how your feeling & your style.
HH: The Frog is dope ! How was the graphic conceived ?
FN:The design was brought to life via face book. It was just a old drawing that Nura posted on her wall and someone commented about it being put on a shirt. We never really had thoughts about starting a line but decided it wouldn’t hurt to try. We know a lot of people so we believed it wouldn’t be that hard. We were definitely wrong. So we started on our mission looking for shops to bring our idea to life. We found one and got a couple shirts printed. I remember people stopping me ( Nura ) on South Street in Philly asking where I got my shirt from and that’s when we decided to make it bigger then just one shirt & come up with the whole clothing line called : One Nation. The internet being as big as it is helped a lot with getting our stuff out and being that we took our own pictures & have beautiful friends it was easy to get our stuff on the internet.

HH: Your twins ! :) What's it like working with your sister ? Who does what ?
FN:Nura: My sister being my business partner is great. Most of the time we are on the same time being as though we live with each other so if we have a idea its easy to get it out to each other and elaborate on more ideas. There is some disagreements but nothing to serious, most of the time it ends in jokes and laughs. But we agree a lot on most ideas and build on it. As far as who works on what Nura usually does most of the creative work behind the line such as designing and photos. Naimah is more of the fashion side of the line , styling the models, hair, and also taking photos as well. So we complete each other. We are twins but we have our differences.
HH: What does being a creative entrepreneur mean to you ? How have you grown since your business's inception ?
FN:Being a creative entrepreneur means to me basically bringing your ideas to life, being able to turn a dream into reality. Ideas come & go. You got to be ready for the ups and downs. Everything is not as easy as it seems and that in any path that you decide to follow. You got to be willing to dedicate your time , your life basically and give up on something’s. This is all things that I have learned and still learning. This whole process is a learning experience to me & a good way to grow. You got to take risks and you got to evolve.
HH: Where do you find inspiration for the line ?
HH:Inspiration for the line comes from pretty much anything with life being music , food weather traveling. Good & Bad , you don’t usually hear people say the bad stuff but I try to use the negatives and make them positives and that’s with anything. I'm really into this Buddha stuff more since the line started; they say like you kinda make your own thoughts so if you thinking bad things bad things happen vice versa.

HH: What's your favorite way to rock FNation pieces ?
HH:Favorite way to rock frognation is basically anyway that’s comfortable or matches my mood for that day. Really just depends on how I'm feeling at the time if I wanna wear a tee shirt or a baseball tee or whatever… or even when I'm going to sleep on a cold night ill throw on a crew neck cause they are mad comfortable.
Naeema : My favorite way to rock frognation gear is over sized tee with fitted bottom and heels & fun accessories or a base ball tee some shorts and my chuck Taylors .
HH: In what ways do you hope to grow your line in the next few years ? Any new releases in the works ?
HH:In the next few years I want my line to be world wide , more exposure and for people to understand that it is more then just smoking its about finding your dream and doing what works for you. Everything isn't for everybody you gotta find your niche. As far as new releases we are always working on new stuff some that are coming soon and some that wont be out for a while. You just gotta stay with us to find out more and more as we grow with the line. We have some new things coming for summer time.
HH: How can fans follow and shop your lines ?
