WHAT: Pop up showcase featuring the best emerging designers.
WHEN : August 20, 2013.
WHERE: The iconic Coat of Arms boutique on Clinton Street, frequented by celebs, buyers, and the likes.

HOW ARE EMERGING DESIGNERS SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE?
Once a designer applies, their application is reviewed by members of the showcase team which include: a buyer from Vicaire, a designer from Tory Burch, a buyer from Coat of Arms, a designer from The Limited, and a former buyer from Bergdorf (yes, you read that right). Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so do not wait till the last minute. As soon as spots fill up, the application process will close.
The categories we will accept include: womenswear, accessories, bags, jewelry, and/or shoes. At this time we will not be accepting menswear.
WHO IS ATTENDING THIS EVENT?
This event is intended to help get emerging designers visibility in the pre-market season. The expected turn out for this event is 200+ attendees, including buyers from large retail establishments and local boutiques. Confirmed representatives already include buyers from 2 local boutiques, Bloomingdales, a former Bergdorf buyer, and a Macy's buyer. More will be added as the event gets closer and RSVPs from buyers come in. If you are accepted to participate in this event, we do encourage you to invite other stores you are interested in. The more visibility you get before Market, the better!
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE POP UP SHOWCASE?
We are happy to offer two pricing options for emerging designers. You keep 100% of all sales made at the showcase.
For $300, you will get the front most spot in the store, with the highest visibility. You will be provided with a place to display your items, WiFi to accept payments via your own mobile device, and hangers as needed. We will also provide you with a name plate for your brand. If this is the option you are interested in, please check the "Front Spot" box on your application.
For $200, you will get one of the spots in the store, as decided by the event organizers. You will be provided with a place to display your items, WiFi to accept payments via your own mobile device, and hangers as needed. We will also provide you with a name plate for your brand.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I KNOW IF I'VE BEEN ACCEPTED
You will be notified by email as soon as you are accepted. If you haven’t received anything from us within two weeks of submitting an application, please email us. Once you are accepted, you have days to submit payment to secure your spot in the showcase.
