Happy hump loves! This week of cold temperatures, snow and ice has me retreated in my home, under blankets with a book, any free moment I get. I told one of my best friend's just last nite, reading keeps me sane.
Getting lost in new thoughts helps me build my blueprint for the business I dream of starting. You have to start somewhere, and I started with a set of books. The last few months I have been drawn to books on finance, how to start your own business and creative inspiration/positive thinking for achieving goals.
All of that literature has me thinking about taking the first risk and jumping into my creative endeavor. At this point, I know the talents I would like to capitalize on; now what? That's been my question of the week. What you constantly think on the inside will dictate what happens in your external surroundings, and within two days of posing my mental question I came across the book, Dream Save Do: An Action Plan for Dreamers by Betsy and Warren Talbot.
This motivating read is for those yearning for more out of life. If you dream of traveling the world, starting your own creative venture, helping others across the globe, or just wanting to experience living during this life. I encourage you to read this book. It is a vital tool for planning your escape from the confines of traditional corporate America to a niche that is a better fit for your personal talents. Putting dreams into motion can take money, so reading up on how to save it up, is really helpful for me.
Life is to short to settle. Dive into your aspirations. Head first with books such as this or Ecourses like Braid Creative; just get started building your dream's foundation. If that means picking up a side gig for a little while to save up for supplies or breaking daylight a few nights to perfect your craft, then do that. All these actions, when done repeatedly, turn into a manifestation of your destiny.
Get this book, and get to it. You are going to be great!.
What books have you found helpful in your entrepreneurial journey?
