Once I was able to take on my passion and come up with a list of ways to use my God given talents to generate wealth, spending money on ordinary impulse buys no longer interests me. It is all about the bigger picture these days, creating my own brand. My personal brand falls into three categories: jewelry design, encouragenuer/blogger, and boutique owner. Can I tell you it feels magnificent to know what I want to do. It's like I'm never tired! I always want to be doing something to build my brand.
Money is a major concern. Dreams cost bread, and coming from a household that preaches financial awareness and "SAVE YOUR MONEY", I want the capital for my business to mostly come from me. So, I'm seeing where my heart is at and utilizing a number of saving and incoming generating strategies to bring in the bucks. Last week I told you about Coursecraft and Society 6. This week I'm loving the Poshmark app. Teaching your craft is always a great way to score some cash, but what happens, when your talent, is rocking the flyest pieces day in and day out? Don't worry, I got you, check out the Poshmark app. It allows users to sell their goodies and shop other fashionista's closets across the globe. It's like a huge closet swap. . . with money involved.
Poshmark is great for saving on your shopping bill each month or for bringing in a few extra dollars to add to the Dreams account. If you're like me and clean your closet once a season ( a habit of working retail since 16) you will have a nice little handful of items to sell. Let the world shop your style. I'll be uploading some of my items by week's end.
Are you on Poshmark? Let me know below.
