  • The root of my business scope is crafting.

I enjoy the art of creating. Buying clothes is wonderful, but why not make the silhouettes I see in my head? Or with jewelry, why not design a piece unique to my feelings on a particular day. The majority of jewelry I wear these days, I make. This has led to inquires and small projects for those interested in my designs. On top of my blog and ever expanding experimentation with soap making, sometimes I find myself caught up in too many crafts.

Organization is important for me in my professional and personal career. It's hard to feel productive when things are all over the place. Since graduating college, I find using a planner less reliable. Probably because I rarely remember where I put it when I have tons of to do's and appointments to write down. Creatives need a certain type of structure and I think Mei Pak really gets us.

Her attempt to help crafters and designers work more efficiently led to the Kickstarter campaign for Crafivity. An online platform that allows creatives to schedule and prioritize daily tasks and projects. A one stop spot for all your creative obligations. I'm pretty excited about this app and will totally be supporting the Kickstarter Campaign. Let's all support Mei Pak and her ingenious app. I'm learning the implementation of a few awesome apps really helps my business to run smoother. I'm excited to see if this is a new tool for the toolbox!

Thank you so much Taila for the feature on Craftivity! I'm not sure if you saw the recent update we had on the Kickstarter campaign, but we're making a change!

Craftivity will be free-to-use-forever, at least starting out. That will give more people the chance to use the webapp without any monetary commitments.

I'd love to chat with you further about any feedback you might have. Thanks again for your support! mei[at]craftivity.me
