  • Fact about Taila, I always have been, am, and always will proudly be a bookworm.  I find books to be the best carrier of knowledge, inspiration, healing and an all the way around escape from the everyday life. If you truly know me, in a normal week, I'm attempting to juggle two books into my schedule. I believe in order to be the best in your field, you have to educate yourself on every aspect of the business. Luckily for me, everything pertaining to fashion/art/ and design intrigue me. Alas,  I never run out of books!

Meca Minkinney is a shero, in all aspects of the word. Her name may ring a bell from a previous post, as she is an amazing home decor/handbag designer/blogger,  and an all around business woman. You may remeber her from a previous post. I am a very interactive twitter follower and find myself retweeting useful informaiton and links to my followers, because what  good is  knowledge if it's never shared? The tweet stuck out in my long ipad thread, ENVISION - not only falls into a list of words I love, but also is a vital component in any creative venture. You need a vision to build from, and keep you focused on your goals. That's exactly what ENVISION 'The Young Accessory Designers Guide To Collection Development'  is all about. Minkey puts her years of design  experience to paper as she takes you through the design and creation process of an accessory line.

Sorry to say, the ideas aren't included, but this ebook is a great to start planning out a future accessory, jewelery, or clothing line. Only thing is,  it requires you to sit down and grab a notebook to jot down the ideas you want to hold on to. As a writer it is always important that I hear an author's voice when reading their work, and by the end of the book I felt  like I had chatted with Meca herself. So if you are  thinking about turning the last six months of 2013 into the first stages of your destiny, I advise you to  click here, get a copy and start turning 'what if's' into 'profits'. Once finished, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Happy Reading!
