Always Evolving: Back From Vacation!

 

My loves! A vacation was much needed and deserved, but sheesh did I miss blogging.I was able to do a little soul searching while on hiatus and found a solid focus for Haute Hemisphere that I'm excited to share. When I first launched last August, I was hungry to learn about the international independent/emerging designer community. I wasn't fully acquainted with blogging and the business that comes with it.Now that I am comfortable in my Indie Nation Niche(emerging and independent art and design community), I am ready to focus more on how to make it into this community.

Over the summer I fell in love with jewelry design, if you know me, you know accessories are always more of my outfit than clothes, so naturally I find peace and vision when creating. I am in the process now of building a line and find it rather isolating and confusing when you go at it alone. I know there are millions doing just as I am, but we all have different visions and goals. I believe one can never fully grow from a sole perspective and therefore I want to encourage more conversation and input from you lovely readers out there with knowledge to share.

I now am on the hunt for not only my usual indie nation representatives, but also companies geared toward helping creatives in business.Lets be real, you can be the next Picasso ,but still get defeated by building a website. The emerging community needs to be educated and exposed to resources that add value to their brands. Just as much as they need to be inspired through stories of others who have executed similar dreams to their own.

 

As I travel the path of a creative entrepreneur, I want to bring your eyes along for the ride. Resources I find extremely helpful for bloggers and designers, I will post as well as I am always an email away.

Now is a great time to put your plans into action, with the new year approaching (and my 25th birthday) I have goals of launching my accessories line, and growing this blog into an international resource. Let me know what you would like to see to help you achieve your goals.
