Fashion Week Favs: Miami Swim Week 2015

A lil Miami Swim anyone?


It's beautiful outside, the temperature is well into the high 80's, and quite frankly, I'm thinking about lying on a beach somewhere. As I imagined myself sunbathing in an Andrea Iyamah swimsuit, I remembered Miami Swim Week 2015. Videos are available. So I figured why not inspire myself, and my favorite group of creatives at the same time! Designers showed their collections July 17-21st, and you can take a look at some of my favorite brands below.

Miami Swim week is one of my favorites due to the fresh, innovative, ever evolving silhouette of the "bathing suit". Each year we can expect something new. Swimwear masterminds curate such intricate designs, with a minimal amount of fabric. It is really amazing when you think about it. Swim season used to be depressing for some of us (raising a hand) but thanks to designers such as Mara Hoffman, Indah, and 6 Shore Road, we no longer have to hate swim season. Who would have thought swimwear would grow to be so. . . couture. I love it!
