It's All About The FRONTROW

This brand stole my heart with the first sentence on the about page. "The hierarchy of the fashion world operates around one notion - making the cut. Meaning, are you “In crowd,” “Out crowd,” the A-list, B-List, the “Restricted,” the“Uninhibited” or …the coveted 'Front Row?'" Shateria Moragne-el debuted her collection FRONTROW at NYFW earlier this month. While her name may be new on the catwalk, she is no stranger to fashion. Celebrity stylist to A-listers and an authentic trendsetter, now is her time to shine. FRONTROW is all about “cool kid” staples. Leather skirts, tops and sweatpants, I couldn’t be more in love. This woman is one to watch. Everything about her style, smile, and ambition all scream FRONTROW.

HH: What do you want the world to associate your name and brand with?
SM:I want the world to associate us with Classic!

HH: You have formal training in dance. Do you think the creative nature of the art form has any influence on you as a designer/stylist ?
SM: Yes. Absolutely!! Designing the leather sweats I thought to myself, I could definitely dance in these. Because the majority of the pieces are laid back I really feel its has dance ties.

HH: When and where did your styling career begin? Which experiences do you feel have prepared you to launch your own line? How so ?
SM: I began just to create and direct different shoots and magazines but I knew early on that I would make my own line. Dreams!

HH: Who is the Front Row client? Would you say your brand is trend focused or classic?
SM: Classic is what we stand behind 100%. The frontRowers are very cool people with a little dare in them; and they have their own style and mind.

HH: Describe a look that best translates your style. What are some of your wardrobe staples?
SM: I think the leather sweats are the main focus for everyone! Popular demand.

HH: Have you selected any favorite trends for the Fall ?
SM: Leather and fur and burgundy! Lol

HH: What words of wisdom can you share with future stylists and designers?
SM:Put God first and go hard!
