These two weeks of holidays, family and food have been treating me so well! With 2014 about 6 hours away, plenty are finding themselves reviewing accomplishments from years past and creating a list of new points of focus. While you are getting ready to make this New Year, your best year, consider starting with a New Year’s detox. All the holiday love, may be lingering in unflattering areas, why not clear out and start fresh?
I intend to incorporate both yoga and meditation into my weekly routine in the New Year, as well as a plethora of natural recipes and beauty regimens. I came across this awesome Detox Water recipe on IG and plan to dedicate the first week of the New Year to cleaning out my temple and meditating. This detox is great for increasing metabolism and cleansing the body. Your destiny starts inside of you, giving your temple a little TLC is sure to jump start your successful new year.
Did I mention this recipe is super easy?
1 Lemon (sliced as in picture)
1 Lime/Orange/Grapefruit
½ a Cucumber
10-12 Mint Leaves
3 quarts water
Brew Overnight
Drink a glass or two of your Detox water for the first few days of the New Year and see if you feel a difference.
