  • You should make a promise to pamper yourself in some way on Sunday.

What's the saying? A weekend of fun brings a week of content. I started living by that statement and have to say, the last few weeks haven't been too bad. So I want to share a suggestion every Sunday on how you can show yourself some love, for a little while, to get you fresh and ready for the week. If you are looking for an idea during the week, feel free to check out my Beauty Pinterest board for ideas. Alright, soo, lets start with the face . . and feet. Two areas that deserve some praise for carrying us through the last 7 days.

Everything you need to make the foot scrub and face mask can be found in your kitchen, or local grocery store. I tried to keep the ingredients  super simple so you hopefully won't have to go out of your way for anything. Today, we're making an olive oil, brown sugar scrub, and a honey and lavender face mask.

    What you need:
Honey and Lavender Face Mask (For All Skin Types)

    1 tablespoon Raw Honey
3 drops Lavender or Jasmine essential oil

    Foot Scrub
1/2 half cup Sugar in the Raw
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup Olive Oil
    six drops Lavender essential Oil

    What you do:
    Face Mask
Mix the 3 drops of Lavender into the honey. Wet your face lightly and apply the mask to your face. After fifteen minutes, wash your face thoroughly with warm water and pat dry with a towel.

    Foot Scrub
In a bowl, mix together the raw sugar, brown sugar, olive and essential oils. Pour into your storage container and apply to feet when wet, allow scrub to sit for a a minute or two and then wash off and pat feet dry with a towel. Afterwards, you may want to scrub the remaining dead skin off with a pumice stone/pet egg/etc . Apply your favorite lotion and put some socks on your feet for at least 20 minutes to allow your feet to absorb the lotion. Your feet will thank you.

I hope these little suggestions were helpful. Let me know in the comments if there is a specific area you would like to pamper or your favorite recipes. Enjoy the day, rest and feel beautiful.
