I love a good bag.
I'm always on the move and with my childlike imagination - I have to have activities to keep my mind busy at all stages of the day. Most often this means, my Ipad, a notebook, tea bags, my lil crystal sac where I keep my creativity, protection and abundance stones, and a pen. I have a beautiful collection of bags, all shapes and sizes, and now I am ready to add a new aesthetic to the tribe. Well, I wouldn't say new, perhaps a fresh take on an old classic - the book bag. As a child , I was drawn to backpacks the way I am now drawn to purses - I always wanted something a little different. Omtura book bags caught my eye this morning on my daily FB scroll - the ingenuity and aesthetic - GORGEOUS! Not Just A Label is a great resource for finding new indie designers and their goods to cherish.
The Israeli designer creates with a design philosophy that Omtura products are artifacts and power objects that hold a craft known only to its owner. As a soap maker, I have learned I have a love for a natural "rough around the edges" appeal if you will. For me, this means leaving the natural nooks and crannies the soap takes on while curing. For Omtura this means no two pieces are the same. I appreciate the craftsmanship and creativity of this worldwide staple. So, I had to share. Check out the Omtura site and Face Book, for a new bag or some great inspiration.
